Wax&Wane Embodied Technique Class Recording
Are you like me and find yourself getting lost in technique and never making time to prioritize actually being in your body? Same.
Personally, I often find myself approaching my movement in a binary way. I either make time for unstructured movement that prioritizes being in my body or I focus on incredibly structured technical movement that tends to put me in my head. These days Im working on merging the two and it’s been completely changing the way I approach dance.
My goal with this class is to create space for both. Because why can’t embodiment and technique coexist?
If this intrigues you in anyway id love for you to join me for this new 75 min class where we will explore both embodied movement and structured movement in a way that allows you to be in your body while exploring technique. We will wax and wane through embodied and technical movement.
PreReqs: Beginner friendly. Most suitable for those with a comfortable beginner foundation so you can enjoy this class without stressing out about “new” and unfamiliar movement elements.
What you need: A pole, Socks, Knee Pads, Layers, Optional Heels.
